Reach the Nether and End Dimensions

Gather Portal Materials

To reach the Nether, you need obsidian blocks scattered across the Overworld grid. Search systematically for obsidian among the floating blocks. You'll need at least ten blocks to construct a basic nether portal frame (a 4×5 rectangle of obsidian with the interior empty). Collect these carefully and transport them to your base.

Build Your Portal

Once you have enough obsidian, construct the portal frame on your main platform or a nearby grid point. Arrange obsidian blocks in the standard portal shape, then ignite the interior with flint and steel (or fire). The portal will activate, creating a purple gateway to the Nether dimension.

Prepare for Dimension Travel

Before entering any portal, ensure you have essential supplies: torches, building blocks, food, and tools. The Nether grid is equally dangerous with lava and void hazards. For the End, you'll need to locate an End Portal frame or gather enough Eyes of Ender to find the stronghold. Each dimension's grid presents unique challenges, so prepare accordingly before jumping through.
