Pulling Items Out
Place an
Extractor against the inventory you want to empty. The
Extractor pulls items from that inventory into the
tube network. Connect a
Tube or colored
tube to the
Extractor's output side, then run the line to where the items should go.
Pushing Items In
Place a
Loader against the destination inventory. The
Loader accepts items from the
tube network and inserts them into the block it faces. A basic setup is: source inventory →
Extractor →
tubes →
Loader → destination inventory.
Use
Tubing Pliers to shape the connections so the
Extractor only feeds the line you want. If a
tube touches the wrong block, pliers let you break that link.
Routing Between Multiple Destinations
When one line must serve several inventories, add a
Distributor. It splits incoming items across the connected outputs. Combine a
Distributor with colored
tubes to keep each branch separate. If you need to merge two lines back into one, use a
Shunt.
Keep each
Extractor pointed at exactly one source and each
Loader at exactly one destination. Build the network one segment at a time and test with a few items before scaling up.
