How the Conversion Works

Unlike vanilla Minecraft, this mod removes the requirement for gold when converting Netherite Scrap to ingots. One piece of Netherite Scrap smelts directly into one Netherite Ingot in any furnace.

Key Differences from Vanilla

In standard Minecraft, you need four Netherite Scrap and four gold ingots to craft a single Netherite Ingot at a crafting table. This mod streamlines that process entirely—no gold needed, no crafting table required. Simply smelt your scrap like you would ore.

Progression Impact

This change makes Netherite gear more accessible once you've mined ancient debris. You can focus purely on scrap collection rather than balancing scrap and gold farming. The mod maintains balance by still requiring you to find and mine ancient debris in the dangerous Nether, so progression isn't trivial. Use this efficiency gain to accelerate your late-game gear upgrades.
