How Polymer Patch Works

The Polymer Patch For Extended Drawers converts Extended Drawers blocks into representations that vanilla clients can render. This means you can place, interact with, and use drawers normally on a server even if your client doesn't have Extended Drawers installed.

Playing Without the Mod

1. Join the server — Connect to a server running both Polymer and Extended Drawers with any client version (vanilla or modded).

2. Interact with drawers — Right-click drawer blocks to open their interfaces and store or retrieve items just as you would with the mod installed.

3. Access drawer features — All standard drawer functionality—item storage, sorting, and management—works transparently through the Polymer patch.

Visual Representation

Drawers may appear as placeholder blocks or simplified models on your client, but they function identically to their full-mod counterparts. The appearance difference is cosmetic; all mechanical behavior is preserved server-side.
