Setting Up Your Pack Structure

Start by creating a folder in your game directory with a clear name for your content pack. Inside, organize your files into subdirectories: scripts/ for KubeJS code, assets/ for textures and models, and data/ for data pack files. Each folder should follow standard Minecraft and KubeJS naming conventions.

Writing and Testing Your Content

Place your KubeJS scripts in the scripts/ folder. These can include custom recipes, events, and game mechanics. Add any custom textures or models to assets/ using proper resource pack structure. Data files go into data/ following data pack format.

Launch the game and use /kl pack to verify your pack loads correctly. Check the chat output to confirm all scripts, assets, and data files are recognized.

Exporting as a JAR File

Once your pack works properly, use KubeLoader's export feature to compile your folder into a JAR file. This creates a single, shareable file that other players can drop directly into their game directory. The JAR format keeps everything bundled together and prevents accidental file modifications.
