Opening a Player's Inventory

Use the /view inv <playername> command to open any player's inventory, whether they are online or offline. This opens their main inventory in a GUI window that you can interact with just like your own.

Making Changes

Once the inventory is open, you can:

  • Move items between slots by clicking and dragging
  • Add new items by placing them in empty slots
  • Remove items by dragging them out of the window
  • Stack or split items using standard inventory mechanics

All changes are saved immediately to the player's data. If the player is online, they will see the changes reflected in their inventory in real-time. If they are offline, the changes will apply when they next log in.

Tips

Be careful when moving valuable items—there is no undo function. If you need to audit what a player has, simply open their inventory without making changes. The mod works with both vanilla and modded inventory slots.
