How Heart Drops Work

Enemies in this mod drop healing hearts when defeated. Pick them up to restore health instantly. If you're already at full health when you collect a heart, it won't be wasted—instead, it becomes a crafting material you can use later.

This makes early survival easier when food is scarce. As you progress and gain access to better food sources, you can stockpile these hearts and craft them into stronger healing items with special effects.

Customizing Starting Health

You can adjust your initial health when creating a world. Options range from 3 hearts for a hardcore challenge up to the standard 20 hearts (10 full hearts). This setting is configurable per world, making it useful for custom difficulty modpacks or personal challenges.
