Why Accidents Happen
Sneak-right-click is also used for many other interactions, and in a busy base or during combat it is easy to hand over a stack you meant to keep. The mod gives you a config option to control this.
Require Sneaking
Keep mustCrouchToGiveItem set to true. With this on, a plain right-click on another player will never transfer items, so you only hand something over when you deliberately hold sneak. Turning it off makes every right-click on a player a handover, which is far easier to trigger by mistake.
Keep Valuable Stacks Out of Your Main Hand
Since the mod reads your main hand, the safest habit is to keep your main hand on a tool or block you do not mind giving away, and store valuables in your offhand, hotbar slots you are not holding, or a container. Swapping to a valuable stack only when you intend to trade avoids most accidents.
Watch Your Messages
Leave the sender and receiver messages enabled so you get immediate chat feedback whenever a transfer happens. If you suddenly see a handover confirmation you did not intend, you know instantly and can ask for the item back before the other player moves away.
