What Fast Recipe Search Mod Does

Fast Recipe Search Mod replaces the slow, one-by-one recipe matching used by Minecraft's recipe manager with a hash-code recipe tree. Instead of checking each recipe individually, the mod builds a tree structure that lets recipe lookups jump straight to candidates, which is why searches get dramatically faster as the number of recipes grows.

In vanilla the speedup is modest, but in large modpacks with thousands of recipes the gains become enormous. The mod must be installed on both the client and the server, since recipe handling happens on both sides.

It works with mods that use the original recipe manager and is fully compatible with FastFurnace and FastWorkbench. Because the optimization targets server-side searches while the client keeps the vanilla method, Client Crafting becomes less impactful. The recipe tree API is also exposed, so other mods, or even non-Minecraft projects, can use it directly.
