Tea is the signature feature of Farmer's Respite, and brewing it gives you a steady supply of drinkable buffs. The process revolves around a dedicated brewing station rather than a vanilla furnace or campfire.
Getting Set Up
Craft the
tea kettle (sometimes called a teapot depending on your version) using common materials like iron and a heat source. Place it down and give it a heat source below or beside it, since it needs to boil water to steep ingredients. You will also need a cup or mug item to collect the finished drink.
Brewing Steps
1. Fill the kettle with water, either by using a water bucket or by placing it near a water source depending on your version.
2. Add your tea ingredient. Farmer's Respite adds tea leaves and several flavored variants, plus flowers and other crops for custom blends.
3. You will see visual cues like steam or bubbling.
4. Right-click the kettle with your cup to pour a serving. Each brew yields multiple cups before running dry.
Different ingredients produce different effects, so experiment with what you grow. Teas generally give gentle, longer-lasting buffs compared to potions, making them great for exploration or long building sessions. Keep a stack of cups on you so you can top up on the go.
