Using the Woodland Staff and Dirt Bucket

Craft the Woodland Staff

The Woodland Staff is produced through the mod's crafting_shaped recipe. Combine the required ingredients at a crafting table to obtain it. Once crafted, hold the Woodland Staff and use it on a growing or mature Dynamic Tree to interact with its structure. It is the primary tool for managing trees you have planted from seeds such as Oak Acorn, Birch Catkin, or Spruce Cone.

Move Soil with the Dirt Bucket

The Dirt Bucket is the mod's soil-moving tool. Fill it and use it to place or relocate dirt where you want to establish new trees. This is useful when planting seeds like Jungle Pod, Acacia Seed, or Dark Oak Acorn on terrain that lacks suitable ground. Pair the Dirt Bucket with the Woodland Staff to prepare a planting site and then manage the tree that grows there.

Manage Water Roots

Water Roots generate around Mangrove Tree growth in water. Break Water Roots to clear space or collect material. When planting a Mangrove Propagule, keep the surrounding water and soil intact so the roots can establish. Use the Woodland Staff on the young Mangrove Tree to keep its structure in check as it expands.
