Crafting the Dimensional Tank

The Dimensional Tank is the fluid storage block in DimStorage. Like the Dimensional Chest, it is made using a Dimensional Core in a shaped crafting recipe. Craft the Dimensional Core first, then combine it with the other required ingredients in the crafting grid to produce the Dimensional Tank. The recipe is shaped, so the position of each ingredient in the grid matters.

Storing and Accessing Fluids

Place the Dimensional Tank wherever you want a fluid buffer. All Dimensional Tanks share the same internal fluid storage, so a tank at your farm and a tank at your processing area will hold the same liquid. Pipe fluids in using your usual transport method, or use buckets directly on the tank. Because the storage is shared, you can drain a tank in one place and the liquid will be gone from every linked tank.

Pairing With Other DimStorage Blocks

Use the Dimensional Tank alongside the Dimensional Chest to keep both item and fluid storage in one location. The Dimensional Tablet gives you remote access to your dimensional storage, so craft one if you want to check or move fluids without walking to a tank. If you need to craft more tanks later, keep extra Dimensional Cores ready. The Solid Dimensional Core is a related crafting component you may need for other DimStorage recipes, so check your crafting options before discarding extra cores.
