Crafting the Dimensional Chest

The Dimensional Chest is the main storage block in DimStorage. To craft it, you need a Dimensional Core as the central ingredient, surrounded by the other materials in a shaped recipe. The Dimensional Core is itself a crafted item, so make that first before attempting the chest. Once you have the core, arrange your ingredients in the crafting grid following the shaped pattern to produce the Dimensional Chest.

Using the Chest

Place the Dimensional Chest down like any normal chest. When you open it, you get access to a shared storage space that persists across every Dimensional Chest you place. This means you can put a chest at your base and another at a mining outpost, and both will show the same contents. Use this to move items between locations without carrying them. If you need more storage blocks, craft additional Dimensional Chests using more Dimensional Cores. The Dimensional Tablet is the item you use to access this storage remotely, so craft one if you want to open your chest inventory without standing next to a block.

Expanding Your Setup

Combine the Dimensional Chest with the Dimensional Tank if you also need to store fluids. Both blocks share the same dimensional storage concept, so you can keep solids and liquids organised in parallel. Keep a spare Dimensional Core on hand so you can craft replacements or additional chests without re-gathering materials.
