Gathering the Materials

The Paranoia Altar is crafted, not found. You need a Block of Forsaken Bronze and a Death Anchor to anchor the structure, plus a supply of Glow Grime and Ash Block for the surrounding detail. Forsaken Bronze Ingot comes from processing Forsaken Bronze Scrap, so smelt your scrap first and compress nine ingots into a Block of Forsaken Bronze. Death Anchor is a separate block you must obtain before assembly.

Placing the Altar

Set the Paranoia Altar on solid ground in a dark area. Surround it with Ash Block and Glow Grime so the glow does not wash out the effect. Keep Crystal Husk nearby if you want a light source that does not read as daylight. Once placed, the altar is the focal point of the area — build your Petrified Planks and Petrified Fence enclosure around it so mobs path toward the altar rather than your storage.

Practical Use

Use the Paranoia Altar as the centerpiece of a mob-handling room. Pair it with a Mob Placer to drop Body Snatcher or Glowshroom Monster spawn eggs into the chamber. The altar's presence changes how the room reads and gives you a fixed landmark to build around. Keep a Petrified Door on the entry so you can seal the room, and line the floor with Darkslate or Grimestone so the altar does not sit on dirt.
