Positioning for the Shot

Open your scope view by pressing = or ,. You'll see a green reticle in the center of your screen marking where your cannon will fire. This reticle updates in real time as your cannon barrel rotates.

Using Zoom to Line Up Distant Targets

Scroll your mouse wheel to zoom in on your target. Higher magnification (4x or 8x) helps you see distant blocks clearly and align your shot precisely. The reticle stays centered, so position it over your target.

Guiding the Cannon

Move your mouse to rotate the cannon toward your crosshair. The barrel will track your aim smoothly. Watch the green reticle align with your intended impact point.

Firing Remotely

Once the reticle is on target, click the left mouse button to fire. You don't need to stand next to redstone levers or manually trigger mechanisms—the scope handles everything.

Accounting for Gear Rotation

If your cannon uses gear mechanisms for turret rotation, your head aiming will pause automatically while the gears turn.
