How to Make a Clay Bucket and Carry Fluids

Fire the Clay Bucket

Craft a Clay Bucket, then fire it in a Kiln to get a Bucket. The Kiln is the core processing block for this mod, and firing is how unfired clay items become usable.

Handle Cracked Buckets

If a Bucket cracks, it becomes a Cracked Bucket. You can recover it: process the Cracked Bucket to get a Cracked Empty Clay Bucket, then fire that in the Kiln to return to a working Bucket. Keep spare Clay Buckets on hand so a crack does not stop your fluid work.

Collect Fluids

Use the fired Bucket to pick up water, lava, or milk. Milk Bucket is the milk result. Carry Buckets to feed Cisterns and Channels in your builds.

Plan the Loop

Clay Bucket → Kiln → Bucket → use → Cracked Bucket → Cracked Empty Clay Bucket → Kiln → Bucket. Each Kiln pass consumes fuel, so batch several Clay Buckets at once before firing.
