Confirm the mod is loaded
Check your mod list to verify Carpet Crit Fix is installed and active. The mod requires Carpet mod to function—both must be present.
Verify fake player attack conditions
Critical hits only occur when a fake player is:
- Jumping or falling (not standing still)
- Attacking a valid target
- Holding a weapon
If your fake player is stationary, it won't land critical hits. Ensure it has vertical movement during combat.
Check for conflicting mods
Other combat or fake player mods may interfere. Try disabling additional mods to isolate the issue.
Watch for particle effects
Critical hits produce red sparkle particles. If you see no particles and the mob takes normal damage, the attack wasn't critical. Adjust your fake player's position or movement pattern to ensure it's airborne when striking.
