Using Bags of Holding

The Bag of Holding Mod adds three portable storage items: the Leather Bag of Holding, the Iron Bag of Holding, and the Golden Bag of Holding. Each one works as a carried inventory, letting you keep items with you instead of leaving them in a chest.

The three bags differ by tier, with the Leather version being the entry-level bag and the Golden version the highest tier. Higher tiers generally hold more than lower ones, so upgrading gives you more room for your items. To use a bag, open it like you would a normal container and move items in or out; the contents stay stored inside the bag itself.

Because a bag is an item rather than a placed block, you can carry it in your inventory and access your stored items anywhere. This makes bags useful for mining trips, exploration, and keeping valuables on hand. Check the recipes for each tier to see what materials you need to craft or upgrade your bag.
