Charcoal Block

Charcoal Block

The Charcoal Block is the single block added by this mod. It is a compact storage block made from charcoal, so it lets you condense loose charcoal into a denser form instead of leaving stacks of the item scattered across your chests.

It serves two purposes. First, it works as a fuel source, so you can burn it in a furnace the same way you would burn the charcoal it was made from. Second, it is a decorative building material, giving you a dark, coal-like block to use in walls, floors, and other builds where plain stone or coal blocks would not fit the look you want.

Because it is a storage block, it is also a convenient way to hold large amounts of charcoal without using up many inventory slots. Break it and you get your charcoal back, so it works as both a build block and a compact way to store fuel.
