Frog

Mobs & entity

The frog is a passive animal found in Minecraft. It spawns naturally in two biomes, the swamp and the mangrove swamp, where it can be seen hopping around the wetlands.

A spawn egg exists for the frog, which lets players bring one into the world wherever they choose.

Animations

5 of these were recorded inside the running game, so the movement is the animation Mojang shipped rather than an imitation of it. Transparent background, free to download.

Stats

Mojang publishes these numbers in the Bedrock behaviour pack (bedrock-samples); the Java edition keeps them in code, not in any data file. Most values match across editions, but not all — treat them as the Bedrock figures.
