Fox

Mobs & entity

The fox is a passive animal that spawns naturally in six biomes, including Dappled Forest, Grove, Old Growth Pine Taiga, Old Growth Spruce Taiga, and Snowy Taiga.

Players who want a fox somewhere outside those biomes can use a spawn egg to bring one into the world.

Animations

6 of these were recorded inside the running game, so the movement is the animation Mojang shipped rather than an imitation of it. Transparent background, free to download.

Stats

Mojang publishes these numbers in the Bedrock behaviour pack (bedrock-samples); the Java edition keeps them in code, not in any data file. Most values match across editions, but not all — treat them as the Bedrock figures.
