Why Height Varies

When witch huts generate on sloped or uneven ground, their foundation may sit higher or lower than intended. This is normal behavior—the data pack preserves the hut's structure while terrain affects placement.

Adjusting Placement

If a hut looks awkwardly positioned:

1. Accept minor variations: Small height differences are expected and don't affect functionality

2. Rebuild the foundation: You can manually add or remove blocks beneath the hut to level it

3. Terrain smoothing: Flatten the ground around the hut using blocks that match the biome

4. Relocate if severe: If placement is extremely poor, you can remove the hut and let a new one generate elsewhere

Prevention

Future huts are more likely to generate on flatter terrain. The data pack doesn't control terrain generation—it only applies styling. Uneven spawning is a natural consequence of Minecraft's world generation, not a mod issue.

The hut's interior and functionality remain intact regardless of height variation.
