What the Patch Does

The Abnormals Compat Data Pack corrects how mobs from Alex's Mobs and Mowzie's Mobs interact with other mod systems. Without this patch, mob drops might not register in loot tables, crafting recipes, or mob farm automation from other mods.

Collecting and Using Mob Drops

Kill mobs from either mod as you normally would. Their drops now work correctly with:

  • Loot tables from other mods that reference mob drops
  • Crafting recipes that call for specific mob materials
  • Mob farm automation systems that sort and process drops
  • Storage and inventory systems from other mods

Behavior Consistency

Mob behaviors—like drop rates, special item conditions, and environmental triggers—are now aligned with how other mods expect mob loot to function. If a mob should drop an item only under certain conditions, that behavior is preserved and recognized by external systems.

Automation and Sorting

If you're using mob farm automation from other mods, the patched drops will sort and process correctly. No more items getting stuck or rejected by hoppers and sorting systems.
