Position HUD Elements on Your Screen

Understanding Coordinate Systems

InGame Info XML Mod allows you to place information anywhere on your screen using positioning coordinates. Different format types handle positioning differently—XML and JSON provide pixel-level control, while the text format uses predefined alignment options.

Setting Element Positions

When defining elements in your configuration, specify horizontal and vertical positions. You can anchor elements to screen corners (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right) or center them. Most configurations use relative positioning so elements scale appropriately with different screen resolutions.

Testing Your Layout

After positioning elements, load your configuration with /igi load <filename> and check how they appear in-game. Elements may overlap if positioned too close together. Use /igi reload after adjusting positions to see changes instantly without restarting. Consider your HUD's overall visual balance—avoid cluttering one area of the screen. Test at different screen resolutions if you plan to share your configuration.
