Why do humans attack me on sight?
Humans in this mod are hostile survivors that treat players as threats by default. They will engage you in combat just as they would monsters or illagers, so approach with caution or prepare for a fight.
Can I stop humans from attacking villagers?
Yes—the mod includes configuration options that let you toggle whether humans target innocent villagers. Check your mod settings to disable this behavior if you want to protect your villages.
Where do I find human cabins to loot?
Humans build small medieval wooden houses in forest biomes, including modded forest variants. Explore forested areas and look for structures that stand out from natural terrain—these cabins often contain loot and may be occupied by armed fighters.
What weapons and armor do humans carry?
Humans spawn with random gear ranging from gold to diamond tier, so encounters vary in difficulty. If you have Epic Knights installed, rangers wear lighter armor while standard fighters carry medium to heavy equipment.
How do I hire The Wanderer?
The Wanderer is a peaceful NPC found in villages that you can recruit as a companion for a fee. Unlike hostile humans, this traveler won't attack you and can serve as an ally.
Do humans heal themselves during combat?
Yes—wounded humans will eat food to restore health during battles, making them tougher opponents. This self-healing can be disabled in configuration, especially if you're using Epic Knights with heavily armored knights.
Can humans open doors to chase me?
Humans can open and close wooden doors while hunting, so hiding indoors won't guarantee safety. They'll pursue you inside cabins and other structures with wooden doors.
What's the difference between Vandals and regular humans?
Vandals are a hostile variant that spawns specifically in cold and hot biomes as scavengers. Regular human fighters appear across all Overworld biomes and behave similarly, but Vandals are adapted to extreme climates.
Do humans fight monsters too?
Yes—humans will attack hostile mobs and illagers on sight, not just players. You might witness battles between human groups and monsters while exploring.
