How do I start training my mount?
Simply mount any rideable Pokémon and begin traveling—running, flying, or swimming depending on your mount type. Training happens automatically in the background as you move, with no commands or menus required.
What's the difference between the three riding modes?
Flying trains Speed and Skill in the air, Running improves Speed and Acceleration on ground, and Swimming increases Speed and Jump in water. Each mode levels independently, so you need to actively use each movement style to progress it.
How do riding streaks work and why should I care?
A streak builds whenever you keep moving without stopping; breaking it resets your bonus. Streaks grant up to a 40 percent bonus to training speed, so continuous exploration is significantly faster than stopping and starting frequently.
What do Upgrade Berries and Stamina Berries actually do?
Upgrade Berries push mode-specific stats (Speed, Acceleration, Jump, Skill) toward their natural maximum, while Stamina Berries increase the shared stamina level that applies across all movement styles. Feed them to your mount by right-clicking to boost stats directly.
How do I check my mount's training progress?
Right-click your mounted Pokémon with a

Once a mount achieves complete mastery across all modes, it unlocks a permanent particle aura and gains Speed II effect permanently. This is the final reward for maxing out your mount's training.
Can I drown while riding an aquatic Pokémon?
No—the mod grants unlimited underwater breathing while riding any aquatic mount, so you can explore underwater indefinitely without taking damage.
Do distance milestones give useful rewards?
Yes, every 20,000 blocks traveled drops Poké Balls, crafting supplies, and rare candies as milestone rewards, making long exploration runs rewarding beyond just training gains.
Can I adjust how fast my mount trains?
Yes, the ridingXpMultiplier configuration setting lets you adjust the rate of training gain from traveling. You can also toggle level-up sounds, particles, and the mastery aura in the config.
Do I need to do anything special to use this mod with Cobblemon?
