Understand Money Mod Features and Limitations
Current Features
FTB Money Mod currently provides:
- Balance tracking via
/moneycommand - Player-to-player payments using
/pay - Quest integration for earning money as quest rewards
- Admin controls allowing server operators to set balances with
/setmoney
Features Under Development
The /shop and /trade commands are works-in-progress and are currently disabled. These features will eventually allow players to buy, sell, and trade items using their money balance, but they're not yet available.
Mod Compatibility
FTB Money Mod is designed to work alongside FTB Quests. Money rewards only function when integrated with quest systems—the mod doesn't generate money through other gameplay mechanics like mining or crafting.
Server-Specific Rules
Your server administrator controls how money is distributed and what it can be used for. They may have custom configurations, balance limits, or additional features enabled. Check with them about your server's specific money economy rules.
As the mod continues development, more features will become available. Keep an eye on updates for shop and trading functionality.
