Create a Compound Filter for Complex Item Sorting
Combine Multiple Filters Into One
Compound filters let you stack multiple filtering rules together. This is powerful for sorting items that need to match several conditions at once, like "enchanted tools from a specific mod" or "damaged armor with certain tags."
Building Your Compound Filter
1. Right-click the
Smart Filter and open its menu
2. Click "Add…" and select the compound filter option
3. Double-click the compound filter to configure it
4. Inside, you'll see the same "Add…" button—use it to add your first filter
5. Select and configure your first filter type (durability, NBT, tags, mod source, etc.)
6. Click "Add…" again to layer in a second filter
7. Configure the second filter with different criteria
8. Continue adding filters until your rule is complete
9. Click "Done" when finished
How Compound Filters Work
By default, all filters in a compound must match (AND logic). An item passes only if it satisfies every condition you've set. This ensures precise sorting for complex scenarios.
