How to Get the Most Immersive Experience With the Body-View Camera

The whole point of this mod is immersion, but a few habits and settings make the body view feel far better.

Look Down and Around

With the mod active, tilt your camera downward to see your full body, legs, and feet. This is the signature feature — use it when walking, climbing, or standing on ledges to ground yourself in the world. Combine it with looking around while mining or building to see your arms and tools move.

Let Animations Do the Work

Because animations come from Not Enough Animations, your arms and body react to actions like eating, swinging, and interacting. Keep that dependency updated so you get the full range of motion rather than a static model.

Tune Vanilla Hands to Your Playstyle

If the body model ever feels distracting during combat or precise aiming, enable Vanilla Hands so the mod falls back to classic hands at those moments. Disable it when you want the body visible at all times.

Practical Tips

• Pair the view with a comfortable FOV; a very high FOV can make the body look stretched.
• Use the F6 toggle to quickly compare and decide which mode suits a given activity.
• Remember it's purely visual and client-side, so you can use it on any server without asking for permission.
