How to Fix the Mod Not Showing Your Body or Animations

If you installed First-person Model Mod but still see plain floating hands, or your body appears but doesn't animate, work through these checks.

Confirm the Dependency Is Installed

The mod relies on Not Enough Animations for its optimized animations. Without that dependency present and loaded, you may get the body model but missing or stiff animations, or the feature may not engage at all. Verify both mods appear in your loaded mods list.

Check the Toggle State

Press F6 to cycle the view. It's easy to leave the mod in vanilla mode by accident. If F6 does nothing, rebind it under Options → Controls → Key Binds and try again.

Rule Out Conflicts

  • Other first-person or camera mods can fight over the same rendering hook. Temporarily disable them and test.
  • Shaders and certain rendering mods can interfere with how the body model draws. Try without shaders to isolate the cause.
  • Make sure you're not in a perspective that the mod intentionally hands back to vanilla (Vanilla Hands behavior).

Still Broken?

Check the mod's config for any option that disables the body model, and confirm your game version matches what the mod supports. Since the mod is client-side, server-side plugins won't affect it.
