Fake Your Armor Visuals
The disguise mask lets you project false armor across all four armor slots. This means you can wear diamond or netherite gear while appearing to wear leather or no armor at all.
How to Apply Fake Armor
Equip your real armor normally in your chest, legs, feet, and hand slots. Then enable your disguise mask with act mode. The hologram will overlay a different armor appearance on top of your actual equipment, completely hiding what you're really wearing.
Strategic Uses
This is especially useful for:
- Trading with villagers — appear poorly equipped to negotiate better prices
- Avoiding player attention — hide high-tier gear in PvP scenarios
- Mob deception — look defenseless to mobs that react to armor
- Roleplay and disguise scenarios — maintain your cover even when fully geared
Important Notes
Your actual armor protection and durability work normally—only the visual appearance changes. Mobs and players see the fake armor, but your real stats remain unchanged. This works with any mob or player appearance you select.
