Disguise Yourself as a Mob Without Getting Caught
Equip and Activate Your Disguise
First, place the disguise mask in your helmet slot or compatible accessory head slot. Open your inventory and select the mob appearance you want to project—zombies and creepers are common choices for blending into hostile areas.
Use Act Mode to Stay Undetected
Enable act mode to match the target mob's behavior. This is critical: act mode copies their walking speed, sounds, footsteps, and head movements, making you appear genuinely like that creature.
Monitor Suspicion and Maintain Distance
Smart mobs will build suspicion if you act out of character near them. Watch for suspicion meters appearing above nearby mobs' heads. If a meter starts filling:
- Keep act mode on at all times
- Maintain distance from alert mobs
- Avoid performing actions the disguised mob wouldn't do (like opening doors or using tools)
- Don't stare directly at mobs for extended periods
Middle-Click to Lock Head Tracking
Use middle click on nearby targets to lock your holographic head tracking onto them. This makes your disguise more convincing by mimicking natural mob behavior of watching threats or other entities.
Remember: your actual hitbox, health, and reach remain unchanged—only your appearance is disguised.
