Understand Blast Mechanics

Explosions in this mod create powerful shockwaves that push you back, break nearby blocks, and cause structural damage. The closer you are to the blast center, the more severe the effects.

Protective Strategies

Build with blast-resistant materials. Use blocks that won't break easily under explosion force. Avoid placing glass windows or weak blocks near areas where TNT or creepers might detonate.

Create distance. Position your valuable structures away from open areas where mobs spawn or where you test explosives. Underground bases benefit from natural stone protection.

Use caves strategically. The mod's sound system means caves echo loudly during blasts, but the surrounding rock provides excellent structural protection. Build important facilities deeper underground when possible.

Manage redstone carefully. Explosions cause nearby redstone lamps to flicker and spark. Keep redstone contraptions away from blast zones to prevent unintended circuit failures.

Control mob spawning. Since creepers are more dangerous with enhanced explosions, light up areas around your base thoroughly and use fences or walls to create safe zones where mobs cannot approach.
