Set Up Your First Ender Drive Network

Crafting and Placement

Craft an Ender Drive and place it into an existing Applied Energistics 2 network. The drive will appear as a new storage device in your ME system, ready to hold items just like a standard storage cell.

Configuring Frequency and Privacy

Right-click the Ender Drive to open its configuration menu. You'll see the Ender Frequency Selector interface.

1. Choose a frequency number — Pick any number you want. This is your link key; any other drive using the same frequency will share the exact same inventory.

2. Select a privacy mode:

Private — Only you can access this drive
Team — Your FTB Team members can access it
Global — Anyone on the server can connect

3. Optional: Set a color code — This helps you visually identify drives at a glance.

Creating a Second Access Point

Place another Ender Drive elsewhere (even in a different dimension) and set it to the same frequency number. Both drives now share one inventory. Items stored in one instantly appear in the other, no matter the distance or dimension.
