Control What Goes In and Out of Your Drive
Understanding Transfer Modes
Ender Drives can be configured to restrict the direction of item flow. This is useful for preventing accidental withdrawals or creating one-way storage systems.
Setting Transfer Modes
Open your Ender Drive's configuration menu and locate the transfer mode settings. You have three options:
- Input/Output (default) — Items can move both into and out of the drive freely
- Input Only — Items can only be inserted; nothing can be extracted
- Output Only — Items can only be removed; nothing can be inserted
Practical Uses
Input-only drives work well as collection points where automation deposits items but players cannot accidentally withdraw them.
Output-only drives function as distribution points—perfect for sharing resources with teammates without letting them remove everything.
Switch modes by clicking the appropriate option in the frequency selector interface. Changes take effect immediately across all drives sharing that frequency.
