Understanding Inventory Checks

The mod includes a configurable inventory check system designed to prevent players from using the Ender Compass as an unfair advantage in multiplayer or hardcore survival settings. This setting controls whether the compass functions based on how you obtained it.

How It Works

When inventory checks are enabled, the compass may require that you legitimately gathered the materials yourself rather than receiving them from other players or creative mode. The exact restrictions depend on your server or world configuration.

Server Configuration

If you're running a server or multiplayer world, check your mod configuration files to adjust these settings. Server administrators can enable or disable inventory checks to match their gameplay philosophy—whether they want the compass to be freely tradeable or earned only through personal effort.

Single Player Impact
