Display Your Ender Compass in an Item Frame

Why Use an Item Frame?

Placing your Ender Compass in an item frame freezes its pointer in place. This is useful for marking locations, creating navigation displays in your base, or preserving a compass that's already pointing toward a stronghold you plan to visit later.

Place the Item Frame

Craft an Item Frame using Sticks and Leather, or find one in loot. Place it on a wall, block, or any solid surface where you want to display your compass. Right-click the item frame and place your Ender Compass inside it.

The Pointer Stays Fixed

Unlike a compass in your inventory, the framed compass pointer will not update or change direction. It remains locked pointing toward whichever stronghold it was aimed at when placed. This makes it perfect for:

• Creating a permanent navigation marker in your base
• Documenting stronghold locations
• Building decorative navigation displays

Remove the compass from the frame anytime to resume active navigation.
