Using Dragon Drop Elytra in Multiplayer Servers

How the Drop Is Assigned

In multiplayer, the mod still drops only one elytra per dragon kill. It appears at the location of the player who dealt the final blow, not at a fixed coordinate. The broadcast message goes to everyone in the End, while a personal message goes only to that player.

Coordinate Before the Fight

Because only one elytra drops, agree on who should land the killing blow. Common approaches:

  • Rotate who gets the kill each time the dragon is respawned.
  • Let the player who needs an elytra most take the final hit.
  • Use a shared storage system so the elytra can be lent or traded.

Respawn the Dragon for More Drops

If your server respawns the Ender Dragon (by placing End Crystals on the exit portal), each new kill produces another elytra at the killer's location. This makes the mod useful on servers where multiple players need elytras.

Watch for Message Spam

Every dragon kill sends a broadcast to all players in the End. On busy servers with frequent dragon fights, expect repeated chat messages. This is normal behavior and does not indicate a problem with the drop.
