How to Get Started with Deep Mob Learning: Crafting Your First Data Model
Deep Mob Learning revolves around Data Models, which are items that absorb mob kills and later simulate drops. Your first goal is to obtain a Data Model for a mob you can easily farm.
Obtaining a Blank Data Model
Craft a Blank Data Model using the mod's basic materials (typically polymer clay and a few other components shown in JEI/REI). Once you have a Blank Data Model, you need to bind it to a specific mob.
Binding a Data Model to a Mob
Hold the Blank Data Model and kill the mob you want to bind it to. The model will absorb the kill and become a Data Model for that mob type. For example, killing a Zombie with a Blank Data Model in your inventory turns it into a Zombie Data Model.
Feeding the Model
Continue killing that mob while holding the Data Model (or having it in your inventory) to increase its tier. Each kill adds data. The model progresses through tiers: Basic, Advanced, Superior, and Self-Aware. Higher tiers unlock better simulation results.
Next Steps
Once your model reaches at least Basic tier, you can place it into a Deep Learner to start generating experience, or into a Simulation Chamber to produce loot. Focus on one mob at a time to reach higher tiers faster.
