Deep Mob Learning: Refabricated Mod FAQ

Craft a blank data model and combine it with a mob-specific item or drop in a crafting recipe to bind it to that mob. Once bound, the model starts at the lowest tier and can be leveled by feeding it experience through the Deep Learner or Simulation Chamber.

The Deep Learner is a handheld device that levels up data models using your own XP while you carry it. The Simulation Chamber is a block that consumes power and the model's stored data to produce mob drops automatically without you being present.

Insert the model into a Deep Learner and gain experience normally — the learner absorbs XP to fill the model's progress bar. Alternatively, run the model in a Simulation Chamber, which accumulates data over time and tiers the model up as it works.

Check that the chamber has power, that a data model is inserted, and that the model has reached a tier high enough to produce output. Low-tier models may only generate data, not items, until they level up further.

Each data model progresses through several tiers as it gains data, and higher tiers unlock better loot and higher output rates. The tier also determines what the Simulation Chamber can produce from that model.

Yes — a standard mob farm that kills mobs and collects their drops works well, since the drops can be fed into the system to advance models. Pair it with a Deep Learner in your inventory or route drops into Simulation Chambers for passive progression.

Each mob has a designated binding item, usually something tied to that mob's drops or behavior. Check the model's tooltip or the mod's guidebook to see what a specific model requires before crafting.

Yes, the Simulation Chamber accepts power from compatible energy systems, so you can wire it into your existing tech setup. Item and fluid pipes or hoppers can also be used to insert models and extract outputs.

Models have a tier cap that requires a specific amount of accumulated data or XP to break through. Make sure the model is actively being fed experience or running in a chamber, and that you haven't hit the current tier's threshold without providing more input.
