How to Automate Mob Data Model Leveling with a Mob Farm
Manually killing mobs is slow. Automating the process with a mob farm lets you level Data Models quickly.
Building a Mob Farm
Create a standard mob farm: a dark room where mobs spawn, with a drop chute or killing mechanism. Ensure it's in a biome/area where your target mob spawns. Use water streams or conveyors to push mobs to a central killing point.
Using the Deep Learner
Place the Deep Learner with the Data Model in your inventory or in an offhand? Actually, the Deep Learner must be in your inventory to absorb kills. So you need to be present at the killing point. Alternatively, use a mechanical user or killer from another mod to kill mobs, but that won't feed the Deep Learner. For automatic leveling, you can use the Simulation Chamber itself to generate data? No, the Simulation Chamber doesn't level models. The only way to level models is by killing mobs with the model in a Deep Learner in your inventory.
AFK Leveling
Set up a kill chamber where mobs are killed by fall damage or a killing mechanism, and stand nearby with the Deep Learner. The kills will count. Use an AFK pool to keep you online.
Alternative: Trial System
Deep Mob Learning also has a Trial System where you fight waves of mobs. Completing trials gives large amounts of data to models. Use Trial Keystones to start trials.
Tips
- Combine with a mob farm for passive leveling.
- Use Trial Chambers for burst leveling.
