Death Counter Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I check how many times I've died?
Type !dc in chat to see the server leaderboard, which includes your personal death count and ranking. You can also see your death count displayed on the death screen when you die.
Does the mod track deaths from the start of the server or only after I install it?
Death counts start from zero when the mod is first installed on the server. Any deaths that occurred before the mod was added will not be tracked.
Can I see just my own stats without the full leaderboard?
The leaderboard always shows all players, but you can use !dc to view it privately in your chat without broadcasting it to everyone.
What happens to death counts if the server restarts?
Death counts are saved automatically and persist through server restarts. You can also manually export them to a text file for backup.
Can server ops see who has the most deaths without showing everyone?
Yes, use /dc leaderboard with just your own name (or leave it blank) to view the leaderboard privately, or use /dc leaderboard all to broadcast it to the entire server.
How do I reset my own death count?
Only server operators can reset death counts using /dc reset followed by your player name. Ask a server op to reset your stats if needed.
If I reset someone's deaths, does it affect everyone else's counts?
No, /dc reset (playername) only resets that individual player's count. Use /dc reset all to reset everyone at once.
Does this mod cause lag or performance issues?
Death Counter Mod is lightweight and should have minimal impact on server performance since it only tracks a simple counter per player.
