Understanding Oxygen Consumption
Oxygen depletes as you spend time underwater, whether inside a submarine or diving manually. The deeper you go, the faster your oxygen depletes due to increased pressure. Always monitor your oxygen bar.
Stock Oxygen Tanks
Craft or find oxygen tanks and place them in your submarine's interior. You can also carry portable oxygen tanks in your inventory when diving without a vessel. Refill tanks at the surface or at bases equipped with oxygen generation systems.
Extend Dive Time
Build larger submarines with more oxygen tank capacity. Multiple tanks stacked together provide longer underwater endurance. Plan your route so you're never too far from a resupply point or the surface.
Pressure Considerations
Water pressure increases with depth and affects your oxygen consumption rate. Reinforce your submarine hull with stronger materials as you venture deeper. Pressure damage occurs if your vessel isn't built sturdy enough for the depth.
Emergency Protocol
If oxygen runs low, surface immediately or return to a pressurized base. Always carry extra oxygen tanks as backup. Mark safe routes and establish oxygen stations at key exploration points to avoid running out mid-dive.
