Locate and Manage Problem TileEntities

Find Specific TileEntity Types

Use the TileEntity search command to locate specific block types across your world—furnaces, hoppers, chests, or custom mod blocks. This is especially useful for finding abandoned infrastructure or machines left running by players. The command returns coordinates and chunk information.

View TileEntity Density

Access the map view to see TileEntity concentration across loaded chunks. High densities in unexpected areas often indicate player bases or lag machines. This visual approach is faster than searching for individual types when you're trying to get a general overview.

Investigate and Remove

Once you've located problem TileEntities, teleport to their coordinates using the mod's crossdimensional teleport feature. Decide whether to remove them or contact the player responsible. Removing unnecessary TileEntities—especially redstone contraptions or storage systems left inactive—can significantly improve server performance.
