How to Clear the Crafting Grid Back to Your Inventory

Clearing the grid

Crafting Tweaks adds a way to empty the crafting grid and return its contents to your inventory in one action, so you do not have to pick up each stack individually.

1. Place items in the crafting grid as usual.

2. Use the clear control the mod adds to the crafting interface (a button near the grid).

3. The items in the grid are moved back into your inventory.

4. The grid is left empty and ready for the next recipe.

When to use it

• After finishing a batch of crafting and wanting a clean grid before starting something else.
• When you placed the wrong ingredients and want to start over without manually removing each stack.
• When you are about to close the crafting screen and want your materials back in your inventory first.

Notes

• Clearing returns items to your inventory; if your inventory is full, some items may not have room to go back.
• The clear action affects the crafting grid only, not your inventory or any other container.
• Combine it with balancing and rotation for a faster crafting loop: balance to check yields, craft, then clear to reset.
