What is CorgiLib?

CorgiLib is a library mod that doesn't add content directly to your game. Instead, it provides shared tools and systems that other mods depend on to function. If you see it in your mods folder, another mod you installed requires it.

Do You Need It?

Yes—if CorgiLib is missing, any mod that depends on it will crash on startup. You'll see error messages mentioning CorgiLib in your crash log. Keep it installed alongside the mods that need it.

Where Does It Go?

CorgiLib works on both client and server. If you're playing multiplayer, the server needs it installed. Single-player requires it on your client only.

What Does It Actually Do?

CorgiLib handles behind-the-scenes work: reading configuration files in a special format, managing how mods store and load settings, and providing common features that multiple mods share. You won't see CorgiLib items, blocks, or mechanics in-game—it's purely infrastructure that makes other mods work smoothly.
