Activate the Default Pack

Connected textures won't appear until you enable a resource pack that supports them. The mod comes with a built-in Default Connected Textures pack designed to work like Optifine's default behavior.

1. Open your world or create a new one

2. Press Esc and go to Settings → Resource Packs

3. Find Continuity in the available packs list

4. Click the arrow to move it to Selected Resource Packs

5. Close settings and rejoin your world

You should now see connected textures on compatible blocks like glass, stone, and dirt. Blocks of the same type will blend together visually instead of showing individual texture seams.

Using Custom Resource Packs

If you're using a resource pack designed for Optifine's CTM format, it should work automatically with Continuity once enabled. Load it the same way as above—Continuity reads the same texture format, so no extra configuration is needed.
