Check Configuration Syntax
If your composter isn't producing the items you configured:
1. Verify the item name is correct—use the full registry name (e.g., minecraft:diamond or modname:item_name)
2. Confirm chance values are in the right format (percentage 0–100, or decimal 0–1)
3. Ensure quantity has both min and max values, with min ≤ max
4. Look for typos or formatting errors in your config file
Reload and Test
1. Save your config changes
2. Reload the world or use the mod's reload command if available
3. Fill a composter with organic material and let it finish a cycle
4. Check the output—if still wrong, review the config again
Fallback Behavior
If all compositions fail to load, the composter may revert to vanilla bone meal output. This signals a config error. Double-check item names against your mod's item list and ensure no compositions are commented out unintentionally.
