Place and Configure the Shop
Shops let players buy and sell items in your world. Start by placing a shop block in your desired location—this becomes the physical storefront.
Bind the Shop to Your Config
Once placed, look directly at the shop block with your crosshair centered on it. Open your server's shop configuration files (usually in the mod's config folder) and define which items appear in this shop, their prices, and stock limits. The exact file structure uses simple text formatting that the mod reads on startup.
After editing the config, use /eco reload to apply changes without restarting. Your shop block will now display the items and prices you've set. Players can right-click the block to open the shop interface and begin trading.
Customize Your NPC
You can assign a custom skin to your shop NPC through the configuration files, giving your shop a unique appearance that matches your server's theme or lore.
