Reward Players for Catching New Species

Enable Capture Rewards

The mod can automatically pay players when they catch a Pokémon species for the first time. Configure this in your economy settings file by enabling capture rewards and setting a base payout amount.

Apply Type and Rarity Multipliers

Increase rewards for special catches using multipliers. Shiny Pokémon, radiant variants, and legendary creatures can all have higher payout rates than standard catches. For example, catching a shiny might multiply the base reward, while a legendary could multiply it further.

Edit these multiplier values in your config file to balance your economy—higher multipliers encourage players to hunt rare variants, but too-high rewards can inflate your server's currency.

Test and Adjust

Catch a new species to verify rewards are working. Check your balance with /balance or /bal. If rewards feel too high or low, adjust the base amount and multipliers, then use /eco reload to apply changes immediately.
